Man Allegedly Murders Girlfriend with Cement Blocks over Cheating
We are deeply saddened to report a distressing incident that occurred in Dunkwa on Offin, resulting in the untimely death of a young woman named Victoria Tettey, aged 25. According to a report by Otec FM, Victoria was tragically murdered by her boyfriend, who allegedly became enraged upon discovering pictures of her with another man on the mobile phone he had recently gifted her.
According to the report, the confrontation began when the boyfriend confronted Victoria about the nature of her relationship with the other individual. Victoria vehemently denied any romantic involvement with the person in question. The disagreement quickly escalated into a heated argument, prompting Victoria to seek refuge at her sister’s residence in an attempt to escape physical harm.
Regrettably, her enraged partner followed her, persisting in their dispute despite efforts by Victoria’s sister to defuse the situation. Shockingly, the boyfriend resorted to using a cement block as a weapon, brutally striking Victoria’s head with it. The violent assault left her unconscious, and despite immediate medical attention, she was tragically pronounced dead.
We extend our deepest condolences to Victoria Tettey’s family and friends during this profoundly difficult time. Such acts of violence have no place in our society, and we urge the authorities to thoroughly investigate this incident and ensure that justice is served.
